Forensic Sil 

The new and improved product for making detail imprints

Produce a mold of evidence has never been so quick and easy to do as with Forensic Sil, it is gray paste, is unique of a kind and is completely harmless to health. The result is a product that stands out in detail, viscosity and elasticity  without deformation or state changes. It is a perfect material to create molds without being toxic to health. Forensic Sil is a high quality and top level product. Nevertheless, even a product like this can be improved, and therefore, they are a few changes, like the 10 % reduction of the setting time,  a slightly lighter gray, and regarding the packaging, now the size of the cartridges has been reduced from 75 to 50 ml, so now, each box contains 10 cartridges and 50 mixing tips.

Forensic Sil  is extremely simple in use. The especially developed mixing tip prevents air bubbles in the impression material and ensures a flawless dosage of catalyst and casting putty. Forensic Sil allows you to accurately adjust the amount of impression material to any situation and therefore prevents unnecessary loss of material. Forensic Sil saves time since it is used directly and undiluted. The only thing you have to do is apply a mixing tip to the cartridge. Then you just simply press without worrying about the correct dosage of casting putty and catalyst. A constant dosage is always guaranteed.

The working time depends on the ambient temperature. the lower the temperature, the slower the materiat sets; the higher the temperature, the faster the setting is.

The following general rules applies:

A temperature increase of 10 °C / 18 °F halves the working and setting time

A temperature decrease of 10 °C / 18 °F doubles the working and setting time
